Measuring resistors with an ohmmetter

Thursday, January 30, 2014

Q. In lesson 1414 we are to measure the values of three resistors with our ohmmeter. We than calculate the percent error between our measured values and the theoretical value. When I do this, I come out with a negative number for my percent error. Am I doing something wrong?

A. No. A negative number simply means that your measured values were less than the theoretical values.
